I know that bash is the default shell for scripting in Linux, and it is located in /bin. But FreeBSD is not Linux. Here, bash is an additional port, and /usr/local/bin would be the path where the bash executable is placed (unless you use specific port options). Of course, if you want to run this script on Linux only - no problem. I'm not seeing any bash-specific (outside sh capabilites) stuff here, so why not use the default #!/bin/sh shebang here?
