The 3Ware controllers are discontinued. I have a 2400A with 4x WD 100Gb
disks
which I am testing today. I'll post the results later.

Hi,

We're planning to buy either a 3Ware Escalade or an Adaptec 2400A ATA
RAID
adapter for our FreeBSD servers. Can you give me your feedback regarding
these products? BTW, are the Adaptec 2400A ATA RAID adapters supported
by
FreeBSD? It's supported according to Adaptec's website but I'd rather
get
the information from actual users.

Thanks.
