Yes, apparently, could well be the CDROM drive, it's a laptop format one (slim). Someone responded to me off-list mentioning the same problem happened to him. 1mn delay is no big deal on servers being rebooted every 2 months or so, besides I get to use FreeBSD on them since they work perfectly bar this delay.
