First off, DON'T TOP POST! It totally looses context. Doug, I assume the MSI (and later Tyan) statments are general statements and not AMD64 specific as the S2510/S2518 aren't Opteron boards. The MSI-9131 is an OK board. It is the board used in the IBM e325 server. Its downfall is it is a 4+2 DIMM implimention. Switching to Tyan, which particular model? Tyan makes many Opteron boards. -- David
