Any time I start a StarOffice application, it "pauses" for 3 minutes before it comes up, then runs fine. I posted this before, but with the interest in the current thread, thought I'd try again. My guess is that it's looking for something, a sound card (using a SB 16 here) or a network connection or whatever and it has to time out before it comes up. Anyone else having this problem? -- Jim Durham
