The translation teams have the option not to work on the article, if they can't do it in time for the release. (Not every article gets translated.) So I *think* it can probably go in at this point. Note also that the doc/ tree is still open. (The main reason for the doc/ slush is to prevent the situation where the translation teams have to track last-minute changes into a document that *is* translated (such as the Handbook).)
