I have a system with a running zpool, and also securelevel=2. When I run: smartctl -a /dev/da0 I get: /dev/da0: Operation not permitted Smartctl: please specify device type with the -d option. On another system, this works just fine - the disk is not being used in a zpool, AND securelevel is not enabled. So ... am I getting this error because /dev/da0 is part of a zpool, or am I getting this error because I have securelevel=2 ? Thanks.
