--k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi all, Background =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D I have installed a FreeBSD-stable on a bootable CD-ROM using sysutils/cdroo= t. A printer, Brother HL-1250, is attached to /dev/lpt0. My /etc/printcap contains: lp:\ :sh:\ :lp=3D/dev/lpt0:sd=3D/var/spool/lpd:lf=3D/var/log/lpd-errs: The log-file /var/log/lpd-errs contains only a line with "lpd startup", no errors. /var/spool/lpd has owner daemon:daemon and mode 770 /var is mounted on a hard disk. lpd is started from /etc/rc.conf An now my problem =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D When printing from a remote machine (FreeBSD + apsfilter, NT4 + Printer Driver) the printer prints everything ok, but after each job an empty page follows. So, it's not *THAT* problem, but I don't like it ;o) Has anyone a solution or a hint for me? I have already checked the web and the usenet, but found nothing helpful :( Thanks, Olli --=20 IST & IIS _ INF _ UniBwM _____ http://ist.unibw-muenchen.de/People/obraun/ Tele-Consulting GmbH _________ http://www.tele-consulting.com/ ___ obraun@ FreeBSD: The Power To Serve __ http://www.freebsd.org/ ___________________ --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE9V3JTwLFrfe8lsboRApzzAJ9BSK2s3uzIIy2XaITmNOpwrPdkoQCgwDbC dqFv/TX9OXllMlUgrGaac0A= =bN0Q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
