Its actually a re-badged JVC XR-W2080 drive (or at least based on it). This is what dmesg is giving me ... a NO DRIVER! message. Is there a driver for this beast (perhaps under the JVC guise), and if so, which one and how can I get it? Thanks Steve Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project.
