Sorry to bother you guys, but I asked in the newsgroups, and nobody's replied yet, so.. I'm trying to install FreeBSD 2.2-960501-SNAP over PPP at 14.4. I can get everything set up correctly, DNS and all, login to the ftp site, get some of the root image. I see a bunch of filenames scroll by- the last one is /stand/ls. After that, FreeBSD appears to lock up, and the modem hangs up. I've also asked my ISP to check their logs to determine what happened, but do you have any ideas? Thanks, Eric Ogren
