Okay, I am confused. What is going on? How do I correct this situation? BTW, the system comes up in single user, so I can poke around, mount / on /dev/sd1s1a, so its not like /root is hosed. Is there some "secret" filesystem I am not aware of that might be full? If it matters (it didn't seem to) I built GENERIC in the /sys/ i386/conf directory, same error message happens. And, my last cvsup was 7 February, but I was runnnig ELF with the updated boot blocks. At least, I think I was...
