            Bug ID: 208690
Summary: mail/mutt-lite: r412853: lack of IDN + iconv breaks
                    aliases
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: jdc@koitsu.org
                CC: Udo.Schweigert@siemens.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(Udo.Schweigert@siemens.com)
                CC: Udo.Schweigert@siemens.com

Issue: mutt-lite excludes IDN and iconv support (which is totally OK! There=
's
nothing wrong there!), however broken/bad code within mutt 1.6.0 causes thi=
s to
break aliases unconditionally. Example:

Error in /home/jdc/.muttrc, line 235: Warning: Bad IDN 'some.email@gmail.co=
m'
in alias 'steven'.

Confirmation of the bug is here:

Fix: author of mutt has released a patch, which users confirm fix the probl=
em:

http://marc.info/?t=3D145989282100002&r=3D1&w=3D2

Please incorporate this patch into files/ but BE SURE to read Kevin's notes
about the patch before doing so!
