If that's true, then the failure is expected because xf86-video-ati 6.14.6 will have loaded the old non-KMS kernel Radeon driver (radeondrm.ko). xf86-video-ati 7.5.0 can't work this old module and failed to load the new one because they conflict. That would explain why a reboot fixed the problem: radeondrm.ko wasn't loaded anymore. --=20 Jean-S=E9bastien P=E9dron --JXmp8dS1jPRp3haPtoXOukmPdAOlijrBv Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJUUfOeXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQ2NzA4N0ZEMUFFQUUwRTEyREJDNkE2RjAz OUU5OTc2MUE1RkQ5NENDAAoJEDnpl2Gl/ZTMGSwQAILWbSXKmLxhBE8Cyg4Hp3A0 +P7l3SQL6jmpFSkFG9PnydiHXKqPwGReAl6GGA6f6n8snQd7Brti/T7NzuebXT4H 1R8mtTfgptT48q2egP6iVd5N4Bok0uV4xA6ydb25hQTaJaBxVZCT9GU1ZbaMIiOK P4VqGZ0mvdMPFkXsjPulbkRM2BZ3+Cjjm/XHWF64bjxfLwlPgOjzGJq3sX3dFVVd UTEZg/oZcumhVoH97jcjrt78n3bSUX9Dm76KjAoOh2SczCuWSZwrebPbMRZ2kQqq WMb1E4GQzYxNpglkmSTCZkeSQSttmFVPE10y+s8f4DWr+aSSvDbgYwwQQXOBR094 8InsCTurhpZgp3TBgVTO7PO8DCfyBmnRd8Bvqm4jWvnsknIijFA8GYR23WJzSB37 0bAC895jhoNS2ZnWvhLtxAOVUD39TRmho3brMFMu0I4Lxwlb334YWPnKvTmS/8RZ 70oaXSa82gB1q7h4pUZmSHMBP3Bjxl1QSVL7eUDEE97mq805CVNxdpf9xKjgJqdr Xy+DSw9IzbAS84Ma2PN/qN2ve/Gzjwkuj2oznsdbi1y0XmcYtkhuv5Q6tfjx5x7b x2pt9vQH5C+SJRxcDECDOEL0StmRzahZS2Y3ULEQqVGf6DEu7dQwYDg9eoZUjo/i 8HN9z/R9dQW7/ihRJqSZ =jB3J -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --JXmp8dS1jPRp3haPtoXOukmPdAOlijrBv--
