if I try and use disklabel(8) to edit the slices information i get

lighthouse# disklabel -e ad1
disklabel: ioctl DIOCGDINFO: Operation not supported by device

I know this is a known problem but if i can't use disklabel to change the
partition offset how am I meant to change it if I can't access the partition
table as I have a damaged partition that I want to fix and I think I know
where is starts on the disk and want to see if I'm right.

Any ideas people!

Bri,
