My monitor (CTX 2085) I used that one to create my modeline too (which works with the nv driver). But it didn't follow the "GTF standard" (whatever that might be). After mailing nvidia about this they pointed me to another url (found in the README.Linux file). There is a program, gtf.c, which generates modelines that worked for me. Have you tried that program? > specs can be found at http://www.griffintechnology.com/archive/monitors/CTX24.html>. # 1280x1024 @ 75.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 80.17 kHz; pclk: 138.54 MHz Modeline "1280x1024_75.00" 138.54 1280 1368 1504 1728 1024 1025 1028 1= 069 -HSync +Vsync I made that modeline with the gtf program based on the values from your monitor's site. -- Morten Rodal --UHN/qo2QbUvPLonB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE9znWebWe1Cy11WVsRAla0AJ4y9+S26Lg9NxV9TfkFfSyMulbrCQCgs8WA qlujVPxBRsvOJcRm3YrGnz4= =frUX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --UHN/qo2QbUvPLonB-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
