I've hooked up an ahc0: target 1 using 16Bit transfers ahc0: target 1 synchronous at 10.0MB/s, offset = 0x8 (ahc0:1:0): "CONNER CP31050 1.05GB 160D" type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd1(ahc0:1:0): Direct-Access 1013MB (2074880 512 byte sectors) which works pretty well, but every once in a while I get a slew of: ahc0: Target Busy ahc0: Target Busy ... and an I/O error message from pax or whatever I am using to do the transfers, for example: brian@apt>pax -rw Mosaic-src-2.6b2 /usx/home/brian/src pax: Access/modification time set failed on: /usx/home/brian/src/Mosaic-src-2.6b 2/src/Mosaic-2.6b2-static.gz And some of the data is messed up. Any ideas what is going wrong? I'm running FreeBSD 2.0-BUILT-19950601 P5-90 16MB/512K Cache 2940W (terminator off) Wide chain CONNER CP31050 1.05GB 160D (terminated) Narrow chain DEC RZ73 (C) DEC T392 TEAC CD-ROM CD-50 1.06 (at end and terminated) WANGTEK 6130-FS 3.04 Digital DC21040 Ethernet Matrox PCI VGA Lastly, I've tried two different Conners and both experince the same problem. Thanks in advance for any help, Brian Litzinger brian@easynet.com
