It just happens to me to with a Zip Zoom (sort of Adaptec 15xx). Tried all FreeBSD versions from 3.3 to 4.3. I wrote to the FreeBSD-SCSI mailing list and I was answered something on the line that it's a know problem which no one has time or will to fix. If you find out anything, please let me know. Bye av.
