    You need to edit your kernel file and remove the word "disable" 
under psm0, then recompile.

Subject:  Thinkpad 755CE / Mouse Problems
I am using the latest PAO distribution to install off of the
Internet via a lan card in the PCMCIA slot.  All is going well,
except I am not sure how to enable the psm0 device as it was
not even detectible at bootup.  Anyone solved this problem
or perhaps help me "enable" the psm0 device?!?  Thanks.
