This is a hardware fault is it not? or is it some other error? It had been compiling for a fair few minutes before this error. I have never had any problems with the hardware I have in this machine before this. AMD 2000+ XP Via 266b motherboard 80Gb Maxtor IDE HD 768Mb DDR (512mb + 256mb) Cheers, Jayton
