Since update to Gnome-2.24 the "shutdown" dialog (as called through menu System -> Shutdown at panel) lost the "Shutdown" button. Waiting for 60 secs doesn't results in the shutdown (as adverstized in the dialog message), but jusrt closes this dialog instead and does nothing more. Tested under regular user, which is a member of "wheel" group, and uder the root user. Results are the identical. The "Shut down" button in GDM greeter/chooser just results in the "Fail to shutdown" message window and does nothing more. All the same applied for "Restart"/"Reboot" -- the same conditions, the same results. Session started from GDM. Arch: FreeBSD-7.0 amd64. Under Gnome-2.22 all this have worked fine. Does anyone observes such behavior also? -- Andrew W. Nosenko <andrew.w.nosenko@gmail.com>
