https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D222741 Bug ID: 222741 Summary: bsdinstall: "Manual" disk partitioning error Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mwlucas@michaelwlucas.com Booted 20170814 amd64 snapshot. Hit enter until I got to the Partitioning m= enu.=20 Choose "Manual." Note that the default partition type is freebsd-zfs. That's fine. Choose "Finish." "Your changes will now be written to disk" -yep, "commit." Get the message: Error: No root partition was found. The root FreeBSD parti= tion must have a mountpoint of '/'. ZFS needs a root partition set? Seems fishy. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
