That probably depends on which of Cisco's routers you will be getting, but I suspect that you'll get a router which has a too-small number of filter rules which don't do good things like "stateful filtering". I could go on if I had these things memorized, but I can tell you that my ISP-provided Cisco router is basically useless for my filtering and routing needs. You can get better ones at greater expense, of course. You might get better/more replies if you identify your router.
