1) If I write and compile a program under FreeBSD, on which UNIXes the
executable will run?

2) And where can I recompile the sources (UNIXes with BSD root)?

3) A program written and compiled under Linux, can run under FreeBSD?

4) The sources can be recompiled?

Suppose I am writing a program that uses the X-Window System

Thank you.
