Jan 12 01:25:34 abc named[828]: Return from getdtablesize() > FD_SETSIZE ------ The machine is a webserver with 250 IPs aliased to the nic. If we add more IP's to the system named refuses to start. Has someone had the same experience? I checked the source of bind and could not find something about a limit of open files.
