I don't know about that book specifically, but if you want to know more about the inner workings of BSD UNIX (FreeBSD not specifically, but...) try 'The Design and Implementation of the 4.4BSD Operating System' by McKusick/Bostic/Karels/Quarterman. ISBN 0-201-54979-4, pub. Addison-Wesley. 2 of the authors are from BSD, inc. it's a very good book about the internal architecture; I don't know about cost, but it's worth it. There's my 2 cents. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* |FreeBSD is good. FreeBSD is our friend. UNIX is our god.| *Micro$oft is bad.
