I was planning to do that some other time. The interface and include file changes are pretty dramatic to say the least. I'd rather do it one stage at a time, and when the dust has settled from named, then take a shot at the libc/net stuff in a few weeks. There are a couple of pending PR's that will be solved when this gets done..
