originaly 6.0-STABLE has ulpt.c v.1.66 to fix bug described in PR 88886 I downloaded new version of this file (v.1= .68) PR 88886 - http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3D88886 cvsweb ulpt0 - http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/usb/ulpt.= c I replaced old /sys/dev/usb/ulpt.c (v.1.66) on new version (v.1.68) and typ= ed #make buildkernel #make instalkerne #reboot but now if I run # cat /dev/ulpt0 my computer halts and there is not even panic or fatal trap or rebooting. Computer just halts. P.S. if I edit ulpt.c v.1.66 and patch it by hand as described in PR 88886 - everything works fine. my usb printer is HP LaserJet 1010.
