Hi i am trying to installed freeBSD 4.6. but on = booting i=20 keep on getting the message

i have read the FAQ's which say to put a = small dos=20 partition at the beginning of the drive but this has not = worked.=20 only giving a - (dash) at startup.

any suggestions would be most appreciable & = thanks in=20 advance
