[After the run top -CawSopid shows something interesting/odd:
lots of g_eli[?] and md?? processes are still around in=20
geli:w state for g_eli[?] and mdwait for md??. Also there

After the run top -CawSopid shows something interesting/odd:
lots of g_eli[?] and md?? processes are still around in geli:w
state for g_eli[?] and mdwait for md??.

Also there are 4 aiod? processes in the aiordy state as well.
