Thanks yep, you need to run ./tools/wineinstall. But I had this one over the weekend too. wineinstall starts #/!/bin/bash - if you don't have bash installed, or not there, then you'll have to amend this line. or you can make manually if you read the docs, (gmake works better than make). Myself, I only wanted it to run Eudora, which it didn't manage. The version in the ports managed better than the latest source off winehq.com, but that might just be my configuration. problems with dlls. sigh.
