I would do exactly that if the system was going to be around for more than a few weeks. I just want a quick patch so I can migrate off that machine to a new server that is allready patched and running ssh without having to do it _immediately_ or by upgrading first. Would the patched Telnetd from 3.5.1 work on 3.3? --- Kris Kennaway <kris@obsecurity.org> wrote: > On Sat, Jul 28, 2001 at 01:18:06PM -0700, Don O'Neil > wrote: > > Does anyone have the patched telnetd, or know > > where/how I can patch it for a FreeBSD 3.3 system? > > You really should upgrade at least to 3.5.1-STABLE, > if not > 4.3-STABLE..there are other security problems in 3.3 > which you're > vulnerable to apart from telnetd. > > Kris > > ATTACHMENT part 2 application/pgp-signature __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
