(see letter) Content-Type: text/plain Date: Mon, 31 Aug 1998 10:14:23 PDT Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi All, I have a FreeBSD 2.2.2-STABLE box running on: Motherboard: ASUS, TX based CPU: Cyrix P-166 RAM: 32M DIMM It's pretty loaded internet server, which has Squid v1.1, News etc. Actually, I've made an upgrade (it was AMD486DX4-100, 16M Ram before, and everything went smooth). And with an undefined period of time (from 8 hours to 5 days) it hangs, with HDD lamp on, outputting exactly the same message each time it hangs: Fatal double fault eip = 0xf01bd16d esp = 0xefbffeb0 ebp = 0xefbffedc panic: double fault Syncing disks... And everytime eip/esp/ebp stay the same !
