Subject:   2.2.7 Hangs on reboot problem

Several of our machines occasionally will hang at "Syncing disks" when we
do a shutdown -r now.  

There are no apparent problems that we are aware of.  Any one have any
ideas?  These are Pentium II's with FreeBSD 2.2.7, Adaptec 2940UW adapters,
and at least 256M of memory.
