            Bug ID: 243442
           Summary: RetroShare ver 0.6.4.4 +
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: kgordon2006@frontier.com

My system is a FreeBSD 12.1 via FuryBSD installed on an amd64 computer with=
 6
GB RAM and a 250 GB HD. RetroShare was installed via pkg install retroshare

The issues are:

1) RetroShare closes, completely, and automatically after the time shown in
Preferences, Idle time, is exceeded. The default time in that setting is 300
seconds. Setting that time to 999 is as long as it gets. Setting it to 1000
appears to be interpreted by the OS as being 1 second. This is unacceptable=
 as
I normally don't access RS every 15 minutes or less. I want RetroShare to o=
nly
shut down when I tell it to via the "Quit" setting and not until.

2) Items written into the chat window when a chat group is joined, never ap=
pear
anywhere but locally. There seems to be an incorrect or incomplete connecti=
on
to the net somehow. Both the NAT "light" and the DHT "light" are green. Fri=
ends
and contacts are shown in the Friends and Contacts list, but never swho up =
in
the Chat window to the right of the Chat tab.
