Subject: Setting up a gateway machine?

I am trying to setup one of my systems to serve as a gateway machine
between two ethernet networks. (Note: I am, relatively, a netorking
novice :-() I have built the kernel with the "GATEWAY" option,
but obviously have to do more than just that. (Since it still will
not forward packets from one network to the other). The (to be)
gateway machine can talk to systems on both networks, it just
doesn't seem to want to do the forwarding

Thanks for any help or pointers,
