I had the same problem with FreeBSD-native mozilla. My final solution 
was to de-install mozilla and install linux-mozilla from ports. This 
solved all my problems, and now I can use flash, realplayer, 
mplayer-plugins, acroread, etc.

BTW, I'm running -current.
