Oh, yeah, one last thing.  The outb() command writing to SEQCTL has a
redundant mask.  Note the

   FASTMODE|FASTMODE|PERRORDIS

Surely this only needs to be

   FASTMODE|PERRORDIS

Or is one of the mask bits mistyped?
