If linprocfs is mounted on /compat/linux/proc, StarOffice *will* use it, as it will appear to StarOffice to be mounted on top of procfs in /proc. The -STABLE version of linprocfs does not support cmdline, as this is normally provided by procfs, so Linux applications that use cmdline will not work without procfs. The -CURRENT version of linprocfs does support cmdline.
