I'd suggest you upgrade to 2.2.1 unless you have an adaptec 2940 card. 2.2.2 has updated adaptec drivers, however there are a few changes in the conf/sysconfig files and such that (from the letters here) aren't quite fleshed out yet. One note, when you're make'ing the man pages, go through the makefile and make all the changes recommended for BSD systems or else they won't format properly.
