I didn't find what I was looking for --or thought I was looking for in the ports tree: ports/devel/. Second, after poking around here and there any not finding the tutorial type documentation, finally, I asked a local CVS guru who gave me the following datapoint. Tutorial at: http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~dbutler/tutorials/winter96/cvs/ Seems that this will be very helpful; then it occured that what we appear to have installed is version 1.6, several revs old. Thanks for any help here. gary PS: There is a similar RCS tutorial at http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~dbutler/tutorials/winter96/rcs/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
