I am running 4.0-STABLE on an AMD K6-2 450 with 128MB of main memory, and installed vmware via ports when the vmware v2 beta was available. This ran okay. I've since updated to the vmware2 port (and added linux_procfs and rtc) and now whenever I run vmware and "power up" an OS the system freezes and then reboots after about 15 seconds. Anyone has this and/or cured it ? -- Mark W J Redding Chaos reigns within. Reflect, repent and reboot. Order shall return.
