On FreeBSD 2.2.7, when I run /usr/local/libexec/mysqld (ver. 3.21.33, installed
via 'pkg_add'), I get:
% ./mysqld
ELF interpreter /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 not found
Abort
How-To-Repeat:
Download mysql-3.21.33.tgz from any 'ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/freebsd/packages-current' location
Do a 'pkg_add mysql-3.21.33.tgz' and the error will appear during the pkg add.
Also, run '/usr/local/libexec/mysqld' anytime after the install.
Fix:
I assume that I need to acquire the file /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 and place it in
'/compat/linux'.
I can't find the file anywhere on my system.
