If I remember the beginning of the thread correctly (pccardc dumpcis returning -1
with errors), then try running pccardd before doing a dumpcis.
I had a similar problem with my Omnibook XE2. dumpcis wouldn't give me anything
useful unless I had pccardd running.
I thought it was odd at the time.
