These are the commits that keep my Toshiba Satellite 2805-S201 from booting.
Bit of information about the BIOS that may be helpful; maybe not.
The BIOS has a device configuration field. Two values are possible
{All devices|Configured by OS}. I am guessing this is what any normal
people would have called PNP OS {yes|no}. Changing this setting makes
no difference in the hang.
There is also an information label for PCI BUS which shows a value of IRQ 11.
This is not a modify-able setting.
I think I'll go trolling through Toshiba's site looking for BIOS updates.
