I tried upgrading linux_base to version 7, but this still makes netscape6 crash when trying a flash site (e.g. www.macromedia.com). In short: freebsd-4.6-RC linux-base-6.1_1 linux-netscape-6.2.3 www.macromedia.com is a working web site. freebsd-4.6-RC linux-base-7.1 linux-netscape-6.2.3 www.macromedia.com is *not* a working web site. The error given is the imfamous "Java Hotspot failure" or similar (sorry lost the exact message). Does anyone else have success in running netscape6+flash with linux-base-7?
