Well, there a number of fonts in /usr/share/syscons/fonts...  You
may even find 1 that is to your liking :)  All 8x8 fonts don't
look exactly the same you know :)  And hey, if you don't like the
fonts supplied with the system, you can always make your own too.

Just to recap, if you find that you *do* want to experiment with
higher-resolution consoles, this is how:

# vidcontrol -f 8x8 <fontname>
# vidcontrol <mode>

You can use:

# vidcontrol -i mode

to see what modes your videocard supports under syscons...
