I'm not using gnpug (or gpg-agent or yubikey). I had thought (clearly incorrectly) that simply entering my personal access token on the command line as my username password would work. As a temporary workaround, I copied the repository to a Windows laptop where I pushed to my GitHub repo using GitExtensions. This resulted in some magic (a browser window opened for me to login to GitHub to authenticate), after which the push proceeded. I then received an email from GitHub reporting "A first-party GitHub OAuth application (Git Credential Manager) with gist, repo, and workflow scopes was recently authorized to access your account." I see GCM (Git Credential Manager) is not supported on FreeBSD and has not been ported to the ports collection. Further, Google can't seem to find anything useful regarding how to authenticate when pushing from FreeBSD to GitHub today. Can you explain your workflow in more detail? It looks like I've got some reseach to do.... Thanks, Dale
