It seems like we can't have more then 16 connections to this box. When you telnet to it this is the error Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost.j51.com. Escape character is '^]'. telnetd: All network ports in use. Connection closed by foreign host. In the kernel we have maxusers set to 64 we also have 32 devices and they are listed in ttys I can't think of anything else that could be causing this.
