Ok, I've made excellent progress booting on my powerbook. syscons off and Peter made me a kernel to try with syscons... I need to try it yet. So I managed to mount the root NFS but something went wrong. I got an NFS error message and then it couldn't find init. I have to try again today... very excited :) Dave On Oct 24, 2003, at 4:19 AM, David Leimbach wrote: > > On Oct 24, 2003, at 4:12 AM, Peter Grehan wrote: > >> Hi Dave, >> >>> I've got the "set hw.syscons.disable=1" working now. >> >> I think the PowerBook keyboard is USB, so not too sure how this will >> go... > > so far so good >> >>>> 0 > dev screen >>>> 0 > .properties >>> >>> dev screen worked ok >>> properties is an unknown word. >> >> Don't forget the '.' in '.properties'. >> > > tiny pixels > > >> later, >> >> Peter. > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-ppc@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ppc > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ppc-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
