STFW I guessed at a solution: toor@freebsd:/root # cat /usr/local/etc/polkit-1/rules.d/51-suspend.rules polkit.addRule(function (action, subject) { if (action.id == "org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.suspend" && subject.isInGroup("dpchrist")) { return polkit.Result.NO; } }); This just causes more error messages. How do configure Xfce and/or dbus to not use suspend and hibernate (and stop issuing error messages)? TIA, David
